An Arlington man faces several charges, after leading Fayette County Deputies on a high-speed chase.

At about 2:45 AM Sunday, a deputy tried to pull over a vehicle near Strawberry Point, for an equipment violation.

After briefly stopping for the officer, the suspect, identified as 29 year old Michael Bushaw, sped off, leading deputies on a pursuit that reached over 100 mph. Bushaw attempted to elude capture by pulling into a driveway, and abandoning this car.

Bushaw was taken into custody; he was booked on charges of eluding, driving while his License is revoked, and driving while his license is suspended.

The Fayette County Sheriff was assisted by the Clayton County Sheriff's Office, and Strawberry Point Police Department.

Bushaw was held in the county jail until his initial court appearance.
