A trio of rescheduled Frostbuster specials are on the schedule for this weekend, each boasting $1,000 to win feature races for Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds.

IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks are also on the card for Frostbusters Friday, April 8 at Marshalltown Speedway; Saturday, April 9 at Boone Speedway; and Sunday, April 10 at Benton County Speedway in Vinton.

Modified features double as qualifiers for the IMCA Fast Shafts All-Star Invita­tional ballot. Stock Cars run for $500 to win, Northern SportMods for $400 to win and Hobby Stocks for $250 to win each night.

Pit gates open at 4:00 PM, the grandstand opens at 5:00 PM, hot laps are at 6:15 PM and racing begins at 7:00 PM at Mar­shalltown. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and free for kids 10 and under.

Boone opens the pit gates at 2:00 PM, and the grand­stand open at 3:00 PM Hot laps start at 4:00 PM, and rac­ing is set for 5:00 PM.

Gates open at Benton County Speedway (Vinton, IA) on at 3:00 PM, and the grandstand opens at 3:30 PM. Hot laps are at 5:00 PM with rac­ing to follow.

Spectator admission at Boone and Benton County is $15 for adults and $5 for kids. Pit passes are $25 all three nights.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, re­gional and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded at all three shows. One thousand dollar point funds will be paid to top five drivers in standings for each division, which will also include points from the March 30 Frostbuster at Southern Iowa Speedway (watch highlights).

Champions will be eligi­ble to qualify for their respective race of champions events dur­ing the IMCA Speedway Mo­tors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in September and will receive jackets and plaques during the national banquet in November.
