High School Football Games Starting Early, Due To Weather Threat

The weather is having an impact on the Iowa high football schedule tonight (Friday, Oct. 5, 2018).

Due to the high probability of thunderstorms and heavy rain, many games will be starting early. Some were played Thursday night.

Here's a list of tonight's area games that are kicking off early.

Cedar Falls at Waterloo West: Starting at 5 PM at Memorial Stadium; Sophomore game moved to Monday, Oct. 8 at 6 PM.
East Marshall, LeGrand at South Hardin: Starting at 5 PM

Rockford at Tripoli: Starting at 5:30 PM
Union, La Porte City at Vinton-Shellsburg: Starting at 5:30 PM

Jesup at Dike-New Hartford: Starting at 6 PM; Homcoming Court at 5:30 PM; Freshman game moved to Monday, Oct. 8.
Newman Catholic, Mason City at Grundy Center: Starting at 6 PM
Easton Valley at Kee High: Starting at 6 PM
Oelwein at North Fayette Valley: Starting at 6 PM
Twins Cedar, Bussey at Gladbrook-Reinbeck: Starting at 6 PM
Hudson at Wapsie Valley, Fairbank: Starting at 6 PM
Waterloo East at Waverly-Shell Rock: Starting at 6 PM; No 9th-grade preliminary game.
Columbus Catholic, Waterloo at Waukon: Starting at 6:30 PM; 9th-grade preliminary game cancelled.
