The 2017 football season ended for the Wartburg Knights with their loss to Wisconsin-Oshkosh on Saturday (Dec. 2).

The Iowa Conference champions fell to the Titans, 41-27, in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III playoffs.

Wartburg finished the season 12-1. The Knights tied school records for single-season victories (12), postseason wins (2) and games played (13).
