The Athletics Hall of Fame at East High School in Waterloo is about to expand.

Three individuals and the 1954 state championship baseball team will become the newest members of the honored group when they're officially inducted during the boys' basketball game Friday night (Jan. 25, 2019). The Trojans host Cedar Falls on Wier/McGraw Court inside Fred J. Miller Gymnasium at approximately 7:30 PM.

The 2019 Hall of Class includes 2007 graduate Mikayla Montgomery (Sims), 2008 graduate Candice Palea (Burke) and 1964 graduate Gary Stephens, who were all three-sport athletes at East.
