2016 Iowa High School State Wrestling Class 1A Districts Sites

The final qualifying round for the 2016 Iowa High School Wrestling State Tournament takes place on Saturday, February 13, 2016. There are eight District Tournaments schedule for that day.

There will be sixteen Class 1A Iowa High School Wrestling Sectional Tournaments, The champion and runner-up wrestler in each weight class will advance to the District Tournaments. There will be eight Class 1A District Tournaments with four wrestlers per weight class in each district tournament.

The champion and runner-up from each of the eight District Tournaments will advance to the 2016 Iowa High School Wrestling State Tournament in Des Moines (Feb. 18-20).

Below you will find the the two Sectional Tournament sites that will compete at the
District Tournament site. The first sectional site in the alphabetical list will be “A,” and the second site alphabetically will be “B”. All weight classes will be paired as follows: A-1(champion) vs. B-2(runner-up) and B-1 vs. A-2. The exact alphabetical listing appears below:
