Cedar Falls Police Investigating Threat To Local Business

Cedar Falls police are investigating a bomb threat called into a local business.

According to a press release, officers were sent to Goodwill Industries, 4318 University Ave., just before 9:30 AM Monday after receiving a report about the call. Police said the anonymous caller stated the building was going to be blown up.

Goodwill Industries was not open at the time the call was received. All employees inside the building were able to exit safely, Cedar Falls police said.

According to authorities, the treat was not creditable. They said an investigation at the scene did not show any threat.

The case remains under investigation.
