The Canadian football fan who honored a bet to only wear shorts until his team won it all got to finally put on pants this weekend after 18 years.

It began in November 2001 when Chris Matthews was so confident the Winnipeg Blue Bombers would win the Grey Cup that he made a bet that he wouldn’t wear pants again until his team won the title. They didn’t. And they didn’t win it the next year, and so on and so forth.

After nearly two decades he finally got to put on pants. The Blue Bombers beat the Hamilton Tiger Cats in the Grey Cup Finals over the weekend.

He was at the game and once the Bombers won, cameras focused on him trying to put on some camouflage pants. He had problems, but you know, it's all new to him:
