A weather prediction snow lovers and haters will both hate.

This year's predictions for Iowa's winter are in. The Farmer's Almanac reveals their winter forecast every August. It doesn't feel like anyone is going to be too pleased with the 2018-19 winter forecast.

The reason that it feels like no one will be pleased is because if you love snow, you aren't going to get much of it. On the other hand, if you like a warmer drier winter, you aren't going to get much of it.

November's prediction is that the month will be a lot warmer and a lot wetter than last year. The prediction says there will be a lot rain due to the warmer temperature. There is a good chance of flooding for the month.

December is going to be a weird month. There are a lot of people that say, "if it's going to be cold, there should be snow." That doesn't sound like it's going to be the case this year. The prediction is that it will be cold but not much precipitation.

January and February are looking to be milder than years before as well.

You know there will at least one good ol' fashioned Iowa snow storm jammed in somewhere during the winter. There is no mention that there won't be.
