Boil Water Advisory For Residents Of La Porte City

Due to a water main break, residents in La Porte City are being advised to boil water until further notice.

According to a post on the city's Facebook page, the boil advisory is expected to be in effect for multiple days.

As long as the advisory remains in place, city officials are asking residents to disinfect their water before consuming or using it.

To disinfect the water, residents should boil it for one full minute in a clean container.
