Blake Shelton and his Team Blake finalist Kirk Jay took on a classic country love song during Monday night's pre-finale episode of The Voice. Their unique rendition of "You Look So Good In Love" stayed true to George Strait's original, mostly.

Jay, a Season 15 finalist from Alabama, adds soulful responses during Shelton's spoken-word breakdown midway through the song. Aside from that, the two men do not stray from the melody and Strait's intentions, but don't appear to simply mimic the 1983 original. Fiddle and steel guitar players join the two vocalists, in addition to several acoustics.

Chris Kroeze (also on Team Blake), Chevel Shepherd (Team Kelly) and Kennedy Holmes (Team Jennifer) join Jay as finalists. The Voice winner will be crowned on Tuesday night (Dec. 18). If one of Shelton's contestants wins, it'd be his seventh win on the NBC show. Jay and Kroeze are the favorites, and each have shown an interest in country music. It's the 22-year-old Jay who's really dug deep into the country catalog, however. He auditioned with "God Bless the Broken Road" and performed songs like "In Case You Didn't Know," "One More Day," "I'm Already There" and "Body Like a Back Road" in recent weeks.

Previous Team Blake winners include Cassadee Pope, Danielle Bradbery and Sundance Head. Of the three, only Bradbery remains with the record label she signed with after winning. Recently she released a duet with labelmate Thomas Rhett, but after a short break from music she's recorded and released several critically-acclaimed country songs.
