The Northeast Iowa Food Bank will host the annual Awards Celebration for the Student Food Drive during the afternoon of Monday, November 14th. The event will begin at 1:30 PM and will take place at the Northeast Iowa Food Bank, located at 1605 Lafayette Street in Waterloo. Join students, sponsors and Food Bank supporters as we end this important 6-week drive.

On this final day of the drive, students will deliver the food that they have collected to the Food Bank and have it weighed individually by school. Students will then spend their time volunteering until the ceremony begins at 1:30. The winning schools will then be recognized for their efforts and the total pounds collected will be announced.

The Student Food Drive serves as a friendly competition to benefit food insecure families and individuals in northeast Iowa. Students from eight local schools hosted events and fundraisers to collect or purchase food for the Northeast Iowa Food Bank.
