Authorities have released the name of the fisherman who died after falling from his boat on the Cedar River in Charles City Tuesday evening (March 22, 2016).

Officials with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) identified the victim as Kevin Neal Endelman, 54, of Charles City.

The DNR said Endelman had his small boat anchored just above a low-head dam on the river when he apparently fell out and went over the dam shortly after 7 p.m.
