An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing eastern Iowa teenager.

The Iowa Department of Public safety sent out the alert just before 6pm Thursday (April 28), after 17 year old Dominique Nicole Lloyd of Washington, Iowa, was reported missing.
Lloyd was recently spotted in Georgia, and is believed to be with 24 year old Michael Knuth, also of Washington.

Knuth is a registered sex offender in the state of Iowa; he had been charged with 3rd degree sexual abuse, in connection with an incident on March 13, 2014 in Washington County. The victim was between 14 and 17 years old.

Knuth is wanted for violating a no-contact order, also involving Dominique Lloyd, for failing to comply with the state sex offender registry.

The two were traveling in a black 2008 Mazda MZ3 4B with Iowa license plate number DXL 519. According to the DPS, the pair may be in the Georgia or Florida area. Iowa authorities are currently working with law enforcement in Georgia, on this case.

Anyone with information on the location of the two, is asked to contact local law enforcement.
