We received 1.4 inches of snow in Waterloo Monday into Tuesday, but the bad news is, we're not done yet...

Wednesday and Thursday bring more accumulating snow, though the track and amounts are still uncertain. "A wintry mix will be possible in the afternoon and then switch to all snow overnight into Thursday. There is uncertainty of how much snow will fall, but the higher chances for accumulation will be south of Highway 20", according to their website.

1-2 inches is currently expected, with tweaks likely. No matter what, we will see more measurable snow in this next system. Grab the shovel (make sure the snow-blower is ready just in case). Bundle up for trick-or-treating and any other outdoor activities because at any rate, we do know it's going to be cold. Temperatures will be in the mid-30s Wednesday. For Thursday, snow will be done by the afternoon, but temperatures by trick-or-treating time will be near 30.
