Accident at Beef Plant Kills Area Man

An Eastern Iowa man has died in an industrial accident in Tama.

The accident happened at about 4am Wednesday at the Iowa Premium Beef Plant. 22 year old Roger Purk of Tama was killed in a machinery accident.

Details about how the accident happened are not being released.

The incident is being investigated.
