13whotv.com recently reported that the Animal Rescue League have rescued around 74 cats from a hoarding situation. The mobile rescue team rescued 74 cats and kittens and the number is still going up. Some cats were in critical condition and sadly, four of them did not survive.

According to the reports, the cats  were rescued from a basement in the 2900 block of 51st street. They had only been in the house for about "four or five days" before the rescue began, and when ARL showed up they were appalled at the "gruesome" conditions the animals were living in. Cats were found all over the basement including INSIDE of the walls. The floor was also reported to be covered in bloody fecal matter from the diseased animals.
