2019 Billboard Music Awards Red Carpet: See Kane Brown, Taylor Swift + More

Kane Brown, Florida Georgia Line and more country stars are in Las Vegas, Nev., for the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. Ahead of Wednesday night's (May 1) all-genre awards show, artists walked the red carpet, posing for cameras in their finest.

Headed into the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, Dan + Shay are the most-nominated country act. Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney are one of only three country artists nominated in all-genre categories, and they're nominated in almost every country-specific category as well.

Nominees and winners at the Billboard Music Awards are selected based on their performance on the Billboard charts. According to Billboard, the process takes into account "key interactions with music fans, as well as album and digital songs sales, radio airplay, streaming, touring and social engagement, [as] tracked by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Music and Next Big Sound." The 2019 Billboard Music Awards will air live beginning at 8PM ET on NBC. Kelly Clarkson is hosting the show for a second consecutive year.
