Woman Hurt In Car, Semi Accident Near Waverly
The Iowa State Patrol responded to a two-vehicle accident in Bremer County that injured a woman on Wednesday (Aug. 9, 2017).
According to a crash report, Jennifer Snitker, 52, of Nashua, suffered injuries when her car was rear-ended by a semi attempting to make a lane change on U.S. Highway 218/Iowa Highway 27 near Waverly. Sniker’s car spun out of control and came to rest on the shoulder.
Snitker was taken by private vehicle to the Waverly hospital for treatment. The semi driver — Ryan Hoeg, 52, of Hootland — escaped injury.
The crash report said Hoeg was cited for improper use of lane.
The accident occurred around 12:45 p.m.
