The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a Winter Weather Advisory.  The advisory will run from Noon Tuesday to 6:00 a.m. Wednesday.  This does included the Cedar Falls/Waterloo metro and beyond.

Snow will develop by late Tuesday morning and continue through the evening.  The highest snowfall rates will be during the afternoon and evening hours.  Storm total snow/ice accumulations is projected to be 2 to 5 inches.

COUNTIES INCLUDE: KOSSUTH, WINNEBAGO, WORTH, HANCOCK, CERRO GORDO, WRIGHT, FRANKLIN, BUTLER, BREMER, BLACK HAWK

CITIES INCLUDE: ALGONA, FOREST CITY, LAKE MILLS, NORTHWOOD, MANLY, GARNER, BRITT, KANAWHA, MASON CITY, CLEAR LAKE, EAGLE GROVE, CLARION, BELMOND, HAMPTON, PARKERSBURG, CLARKSVILLE, SHELL ROCK, GREENE, APLINGTON, ALLISON, DUMONT, WAVERLY, WATERLOO, CEDAR FALLS

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
