Why In The World Is Brad Paisley Suing Sony Records For Over $10 Million Dollars?

Country superstar Brad Paisley is furious with his record label, Sony Music. Brad has slapped them with a lawsuit claiming they stole more than $10 million from him. According to court documents filed on March 31, Paisley believes Sony has failed to live up to their agreements despite a previous 2011 lawsuit. Brad says, "they are trying to rob me blind."

The reason that Paisley is taking action is because Sony continuously has refused Paisley access to a variety of information. Sony has allegedly applied incorrect royalty rates, prices, and reductions, pursuant to his contract, resulting in Sony’s significantly underpaying Paisley, the documents read.
