We know that the robots are eventually on their way, here is a list of the 5 jobs, they'll take first. Might be time to get the resume ready.

Oxford University has predicted that 47% of jobs in the U.S. could be automated within the next 2 decades. Is your job on the list? See below:

Middle Management

If your job is to put numbers into a spread sheet on Excel and justify what the number means, this could be the first job to go.

Commodity Salespeople

Machines will be able to take out so much cost in the sales process (request for proposal, quotation, order, and fulfillment system), it will be inevitable that the CEO will buy robots.

Report Writers, Journalists, Authors, Announcers

Machines can be taught to read data, pattern match images, video, and any kind of research materials and create very readable (and announceable) writing. Also, text-to-speech is evolving so quickly and sound so realistic, that even sports play-by-play announcers could be job searching.

Accountants and Bookkeepers

There are so many data processing jobs and the machines will eliminate human error. Robo-accounting is a very new thought process, but will excel at accounts payable and receivable, inventory control, auditing, and other accounting functions that humans used to be needed to do.

Doctors

Pretty soon there just won't be enough doctors for how many people will be on earth. The current world population in 7.3 billion and is expected to be 8.5 billion by the year 2030. The population is expected to be 11.2 billion by the year 2100. There will be no choice but to move to robots. The population numbers could be extremely higher if all health care is turned to robots. Whether that's a good or bad thing is up for debate.
