Boone starter Storm Wagner also walked in a run, and Waverly-Shell Rock’s Havlovic clubbed a two-RBI single with the bases loaded. With the help of walks and errors, Waverly-Shell Rock got out of the third inning with seven runs and a 10-2 advantage.

In the bottom of the fifth, Dalton Steere hit a two-RBI single to end the game on the 10-run rule. The final score was 12-2 in Waverly-Shell Rock’s favor.
