Waterloo Woman Arrested on Warrant in Rural Fayette
A Waterloo woman has been arrested at a Fayette County Residential facilty, on a warrant for several serious charges.
On Tuesday, 20 year old Ashley Welch was located at Prairie View Residential Care Facility in rural Fayette.
She was wanted on a warrant from Black Hawk County for a pretrial supervision violation.
The original charges were 1st degree arson, willful injury causing bodily injury, and going armed with intent.
Welch was taken into custody by the Fayette County Sheriff, then transferred to the Black Hawk County jail in Waterloo, where she is being held on $50,000 bond.
A West Union man has turned himself in to authorities on an outstanding warrant, regarding a traffic accident.
35 year old Joshua Schroeder surrendered himself to the Fayette County Sheriff on Wednesday.
He was wanted on a Fayette County warrant for leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.
Schroeder was released after posting $2,500 bond.
