Waterloo Shooting; Crimestoppers Seeking Tips

Waterloo Police are investigating an overnight shooting.

Emergency workers were called out just before 11pm Sunday, to a home in the 500 block of Rhey Street.

Responding officers found 25 year old Demarcus Green, who had sustained a gunshot wound to his arm. According to sources, the injury is not considered life-threatening.

Green was reportedly conscious and alert when authorities arrived at his home; he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Waterloo Police are asking for the public's help in locating the suspect. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers; those reporting tips may remain anonymous.
