Waterloo School Van Involved in Accident

A motorist has been charged after crashing into a school vehicle in Waterloo.

The accident happened at about 5pm Wednesday, near the intersection of 8th and Franklin Streets.

A truck rear-ended the Waterloo School van.

Several children in the vehicle were treated for minor injuries at an area hospital.

The truck driver, whose name was not available, was cited for failure to maintain a proper lookout.
