Waterloo police have captured a man who was placed on Black Hawk County's list of "Most Wanted" fugitives nearly a year ago.

Treshawn Raheem Robertson, 21, of Waterloo, had multiple felony and misdemeanor warrants against him when he was arrested around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday (Aug. 2. 2015).

According to police, officers were investigating suspicious activity involving a parked vehicle in the 1400 block of Oleson Road when a front-seat passenger took off running from the vehicle. Investigating officers said they observed a strong odor of burnt marijuana upon their initial approach and pursued the suspect on foot. They eventually caught to the man in a wooded area near Target SuperStore and took him into custody after a short struggle.

They identified the suspect as Robertson, who was placed on Black Hawk County's "Most Wanted" list by sheriff's officials in September of 2014. Robertson was wanted on a felony warrant for the sale and manufacture of marijuana, and misdemeanor warrants for possession of a controlled substance and first-offense drunken driving.

Police charged Robertson with interference with official acts and booked him into the Black Hawk County Jail on the arrest warrants.
