Cedar Falls Police arrested a Waterloo resident after investigating a report of indecent exposure.

On Wednesday, June 22, the Cedar Falls Police received a report of a man in a vehicle who exposed himself to a female as she was running near the intersection of Melrose Drive and Valley Park Drive in Cedar Falls. After a month long investigation, police were able to identify the person who exposed himself as William Terry Wright, 29, of Waterloo.

An arrest warrant was issued for Wright and he was arrested by Cedar Falls Police on Sunday, July 24th and transported to the Black Hawk County Jail.

Indecent Exposure is a serious misdemeanor, which carries a maximum fine of $1,875 and/or up to a year in jail.

A criminal charge is an accusation and the Defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
