The investigation into a disabled vehicle in Chickasaw County has resulted in the arrest of 2 Waterloo residents.

The incident happened Monday on Highway 63 near New Hampton. A passing deputy stopped to help with a car that had stopped running, on the side of the road.

After looking further into the matter, 21 year old Raphael Clarke of Waterloo was arrested for an outstanding Black Hawk County warrant, along with charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and violating a no-contact order.

Also, 20 year old Kanesha Rollins of Waterloo was taken into custody on violation of a no-contact order.

Rollins was released after making an appearance before a judge, while Clarke was held in the Chickasaw County jail, waiting to be transferred to Black Hawk County authorities.
