Waterloo Black Hawks Slogan Announced, Tickets Now On Sale

On the first day of regular season ticket sales, the Waterloo Black Hawks congratulate Kelli Loers of Cedar Falls for submitting the team’s 2015/16 season slogan.

Kelli’s submission was selected by a secret panel of experts from among the hundreds of entries which were received as part of the Black Hawks’ Slogan Contest.

“There were a ton of great choices, and we appreciate the enthusiasm and creativity shown by so many of our fans,” said Black Hawks Vice President of Business Operations Joe Greene. “This slogan gives us the opportunity to recognize our entire fans base across northeast Iowa…the people who come from near and far to support the Black Hawks.”

For providing the winning entry, Kelli will claim her own place in Hawks’ Official 2015/16 Player Trading Card Set, a stick signed by the Hawks, a Black Hawks Replica Jersey, and two tickets to the opening game of the season on Saturday, September 26th against the Muskegon Lumberjacks.

The slogan will appear on the team’s pocket schedule, radio and television commercials, schedule posters, website, and other materials during the season.
