Country star Chris Janson gained national attention when the title track off his album Buy Me A Boat hit the top of the charts last summer. Although he was a new artist to the average country listener, he'd actually been working in Nashville for quite some time.

Janson has written a number of songs for country stars like Tim McGraw, Justin Moore and  Hank Williams Jr., just to name a few. The soul of his music has a more traditional country feel to it, which is refreshing compared to the current influx of pop sounding songs coming out of Nashville these days.

Not only is Janson a great song writer and singer, but it turns out, he's also an amazing harmonica player! Janson showed off his mad skills while performing at the Grand Ole Opry. Check out his unique version of the old Johnny Cash classic, Folsom Prison Blues.

Chris Janson will be making several trips to Iowa this summer. You can catch him in concert in Forest City - May 29th, Burlington - June 16th, Cherokee  - July 30th and Davenport - August 2nd. His current single The Power Of Positive Drinkin' is currently working its way up the charts.
