The matchup has been set for the USHL Western Conference Final as the Tri-City Storm and Sioux Falls Stampede will meet in a best-of-five series beginning on Friday, April 24th.

The second-seeded Tri-City Storm swept the third seed Omaha Lancers 3-0 in the conference semifinals, while the fourth-seeded Sioux Falls Stampede defeated the top seed Sioux City Musketeers 3-2 in a thrilling best-of-five series.

It marks the third time ever that the Tri-City Storm and Sioux Falls Stampede will meet in the Clark Cup Playoffs. They previously met in 2006 and 2007 with Sioux Falls advancing both times and holding a cumulative 4-2 record in six postseason games against Tri-City.

With the higher seed, Tri-City holds home-ice advantage in the series and will host Game One on Friday and Game Two on Saturday before the series shifts to Sioux Falls.

The winner of this series advances to the USHL Clark Cup Final and will play the winner of the Eastern Conference Final between the Dubuque Fighting Saints and Muskegon Lumberjacks.
