Former University of Northern Iowa player turned head coach Bobbi Petersen earned her career 400th coaching win as a Panther. Two former Cedar Valley/NEI high schools stars helped secure the victory.

The UNI Panthers traveled to Bradley (Peoria, IL) and scored a 3-0 win over the Bradley Braves at the Renaissance Coliseum. UNI won in straight sets, 25-20, 25-18, 25-19.

It was the fifth straight win for UNI (9-7, 3-0), and two former North East Iowa high school standouts help score the victory. Dike-New Hartford graduate Bri Weber put down 10 kills and added 17 digs for her 11th double-double. Jesup's Piper Thomas added eight kills, and her hitting percentage is a solid .444.

UNI also recorded a .274 hitting percentage - the fifth straight match that the Panthers have hit .250 or better. It was also UNI's first 3-0 sweep of the season.

Bradley (5-9, 0-2) lost its eight straight match on the season.

NEXT UP: The Panthers will be in action again on the road Friday at Indiana State and Saturday at Illinois State.
