UNI Wrestlers Dominate at Central Missouri Open

The University of Northern Iowa wrestlers started their 2014-2015 season on the road at the Central Missouri Open on November 16, 2014. The Panthers team earned five championships and 18 total finished in the Top 6.

The Northern Iowa Panthers scored 37 pins en route to dominating the (University of) Central Missouri Open in Warrensburg, MO. UNI racked up a team high 825 total match points. Almost 300 more points that any other team.

Championships were awarded to Dylan Peters (125#), Levi Wolfensperger (133#), Curt Maas (174#), Cody Caldwell (184#), and Jared Bartel (197#).

Next up for the Panthers wrestling team will be a triangular meet at Purdue University featuring Purdue and Indiana Tech on November 23. The first time on the West Gym's home mat will be Sunday, November 29 against Iowa Central Community College.
