The University of Northern Iowa volleyball team is going to have a Volleyball 101 night at the McLeod Center on Aug. 17.

The event is free and open to the public. The McLeod Center doors will open at 5 p.m. and the event will run from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Concessions will open at 5 p.m. and feature hot dogs for $1.01.

The McLeod Center court will be open prior to the event for a serving game. The sessions for the evening include official’s signals, rules of the game, basics of volleyball, life of a UNI volleyball player, a chat with head coach Bobbi Petersen and much more.
