UNI Panthers Softball Heads to MVC Tournament

The University of Northern Iowa Panthers softball team head to Wichita, KS for the 2015 Missouri Valley Conference Softball Championship Tournament. This marks the sixth straight MVC tournament appearance for the Panthers.

The Top 8 teams qualified for the 2015 championship tournament. Drake (32-20, 19-8 MVC) earned the No. 1 seed.  Missouri State ((29-24, 17-9) MVC) secured the No. 2 seed

Northern Iowa (22-27, 15-10 MVC) enter this weekend's tournament as the No. 3 seed. Their first round opponent will be the winner of the Bradley (22-31, 15-12 MVC) and Illinois State (23-20, 14-12) First Round match-up.

The 2015 Missouri Valley Conference Softball Tournament will be played in Wichita, KS May 7-9, 2015. Fans can follow the MVC Softball Championship on ESPN3 and WatchESPN.
