Two men are facing charges for allegedly threatening people with a weapon in Waterloo Saturday afternoon (Aug. 6, 2016).

Police were called to the 1200 block of Ackermant St. to investigate the disturbance case. Just before 2:30 p.m., officers said they received a report that two adult males were walking through the neighborhood threatening people with a rifle.

After police arrived, two suspects were taken into custody. Police arrested Taylor Morrow, 18, of Waterloo, on charges of assault with intent and going armed with intent. Tony Morrow, 44, also of Waterloo, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Police said at the time the men were arrested, the realistic-looking rifle was seized and determined to be a BB/pellet gun.
