Two Arrested In Evansdale On Drug Charges

Two people in Evansdale were arrested on Wednesday (3/18) on drug charges.

According to the Sheriff's report, Black Hawk County Deputies were investigating a report of possible illegal drug activity in Evansdale and executed a search warrant at 237 Wema Avenue.

Deputies found and seized marijuana and money. Tony Jones, age 57 and Susan Jones, age 61 were charged with Sale/Manufacture of Marijuana and Drug Tax Stamp violation, both Class D Felonies.

Deputies transported the two to the Black Hawk County Jail.
