Another reason to miss your college days: Tucker Beathard has announced that he will be headlining his own Rock On College Tour this fall.

Following a summer filled with shows with Dierks Bentley, Beathard will be hitting the road this fall to play clubs in nine Big Ten Conference college towns. The tour kicks off on Oct. 13 in Champaign, Ill., and will include stops in Ohio, Michigan and Nebraska, among others, before wrapping up on Nov. 12 in Iowa City, Iowa. A full list of stops is below.

“If I learned anything from growing up on a field surrounded by coaches and athletes, it’s that you have to keep your head down and keep practicing. Two hundred shows later, and I think we are ready to go tackle our first club tour," says Beathard in a press release. "There’s no place better than a college town in the fall … I’m really excited to get started!”

"Rock On," released earlier this year, is Beathard's debut single. The song, written by Beathard and his country songwriter father Casey Beathard, was chosen specifically to set the tone for his career.

“It was important to me when deciding on the first single that the song was one that I felt would show who I am as an artist, musician and songwriter,” Beathard says. “I’m a bit of an introvert, but writing songs and performing them is my way of expressing myself, and I hope it resonates with people.”

"Rock On" is available on iTunes now; more information about Beathard is available on his website.
