Traffic Lights Back in Operation at Intersection

The Oelwein Police Department wants to alert all drivers, that the stop lights located at the intersection of East Charles and 8th Avenue, are now working again.

For the last few weeks, the intersection had been operated as a four-way stop, as the lights have been flashing red at all four stops.

Authorities caution drivers, when approaching the intersection, to make sure the other motorists are stopped, if they have a red light.
