Time is Running Out to Nominate Your Favorite Farm Mom

March 31st is the final day to nominate your favorite farm mom for the 2015 America’s Farmers Mom of the Year award. Five regional winners will be announced at the end of April - and each will receive a 5,000-dollar cash prize.

The winners’ profiles will then be posted to Americas Farmers dot com for the public to vote for the national winner - which will receive an additional 5,000-dollar cash prize. The national winner will be announced just before Mother’s Day in May.

Monsanto Corporate Brand Communications Manager Tracy Mueller says the America’s Farmers Mom of the Year program is one of the most fulfilling things Monsanto has the honor of doing all year. American Agri-Women Vice President of Education Donnell Scott says it’s so humbling to read about all of the amazing farm moms who give so much of themselves and ask for nothing in return. Scott says it’s their selflessness that makes the job of judging the nominations extremely difficult - yet so rewarding.
