Three Taken to the Hospital from Waterloo Accident

Waterloo Police are investigating the cause of a two vehicle accident on University Avenue.

It happened Thursday afternoon, at the intersection with Ansborough Avenue.

A pickup collided with a car, sending the car skidding onto a nearby lawn. The pickup rolled onto it's passenger side, blocking off traffic.

A woman in the car had to be extricated by Waterloo Fire and Rescue, and two people were pulled from the pickup. All three were taken to a local hospital, with minor injuries.

No names have been released; it was unknown which driver caused the accident.
