This Memorial Day We Say ‘Thank You’ [Watch]
Today is Memorial Day, and we can not say thank you enough to those how have paid the ultimate price to protect the freedoms that we sometimes take for granted. Simply put, thank you!
As former President of the United States Ronald Reagan once said...
Memorial Day is a day of ceremonies and speeches. Throughout America today we honor the dead of our wars. We recall their valor and sacrifices. We remember they gave their lives, so that others might live." Ronald Reagan on May 28, 1984
He went on to quote Abraham Lincoln when he addressed a crowd at Gettysburg in 1863, Lincoln reminded us that through their deeds, the dead have spoken more elegantly for themselves than any of the living ever could.
Our living can only honor them by rededicating ourselves to the cause for which they so willingly gave a full measure of devotion." Abraham Lincoln.
A grateful Cedar Valley opens her heart today in gratitude for their sacrifice, for their courage, and for their noble service. They are the reason we are able to enjoy the countless freedoms we enjoy today.
Simply put ... "Thank You!"
