Days away from The Walking Dead Season 6’s grand return, we’re close enough that you can already read our early review, but why stop there? The first four minutes of Sunday’s “No Way Out,” have arrived, and there may be no Saviors for Daryl, Sasha and Abraham.

The Walking Dead will return in under a week’s time, picking up with one of the biggest cliffhangers in the series’ history, and answering the question of whether or not Alexandria is here to stay. That said, Andrew Lincoln teases a huge change for the back half of Season 6, while a new leaked photo may confirm some deadly consequences ahead.

However much the first half of The Walking Dead Season 6 spent jumping around time and perspective, few would argue that our beloved Daryl got the short end of the stick, leading only a solitary episode, and losing his iconic motorcycle and crossbow in the process. Our long national nightmare has ended, however, as the back eight will feature much more Norman Reedus, even “a little Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” action with Rick.

It likely won’t take long into The Walking Dead 2016 premiere “No Way Out” for bodies to start dropping, what with the precarious situation we left Alexandria in, and the not-so-Saviors staring down Daryl, Sasha and Abraham. Now, a new clip promo from the February return sees at least one fan-favorite in the crosshairs, and might point toward a certain comic fate.

We left The Walking Dead in 2015 with way more questions than answers, not to mention some major peril, and it looks like the body parts will fly when Season 6 picks up again on February 14. Our first photos and poster heavily hint at some major comic trauma, while intel from Robert Kirkman puts plenty more threats waiting in the wings.

As The Walking Dead gears up for the back half of its sixth season and some major comic milestones, with years of issues untapped for source material, there isn’t much consideration of an end in sight. That said, AMC’s longest series only lasted seven seasons, so how long do network bosses really see it going? Might Fear, or another spinoff ever take the reigns?
