The new cast for Dancing With the Stars has been announced, and it looks like there's no country music represented in 2017. But there are plenty of country singers who could be great if they competed on the show. Which one is your favorite?

Quite a few country singers have appeared on Dancing With the Stars over the course of its run, and some of them have proven to be formidable competitors. Kellie Pickler actually won the mirror ball trophy during Season 16, and Jana Kramer danced her way to the finals before she was eliminated during her run on the show in 2016, while other stars including Billy Ray Cyrus, and Wynonna Judd did not acquit themselves as well on the dance floor.

Thomas Rhett's dancing is part of his live shows, so much so that he actually sought professional instruction to improve his concerts. He'd be a natural for Dancing With the Stars, and so would Kelsea Ballerini, who could bring a fun, fresh energy to the program.

There are several more country men we could easily see on Dancing With the Stars, while the female country singers who could do well on the show include another younger star on the rise, a superstar who got her start on another reality television program and three certifiable country music icons.
