Sheriff Warns Residents to be Alert of Suspicious Activity

The Chickasaw County Sheriff's Office is alerting area residents of some recent break-in's.
Authorities have received several reports of residential burglaries in the rural areas. The incidents are happening both during the day, and evening hours.

The sheriff is asking Chickasaw County residents to be alert of any suspicious vehicles in your neighborhood; lock your vehicle and remove all valuables; and secure your home with a deadbolt lock when you are away.

If you take a vacation, ask a trusted neighbor or relative to watch your residence.

The sheriff can also make house checks, on request.

Remember: Alert law enforcement as soon as you see any suspicious activity or anything out of the ordinary.
