A Randalia teen is being charged with causing a one-vehicle rollover accident that happened last Tuesday (March 24) near Sumner.

It occurred just after 8:30am, just east of Sumner on Highway 93.

A pickup driven by 17 year old Johnathan Fox, went out of control, entered a ditch, then jumped a driveway, rolling twice onto it's top.

Fox and his passenger, 15 year old Brent Horst of Mountain Grove, Missouri, were freed from the truck, and taken by ambulance to the Sumner hospital. Both had been reported in stable condition, with no life-threatening injuries.

The pickup was totaled; Fox was charged with failure to maintain control. The accident was investigated by the Fayette County Sheriff.
