The public is invited to take part in the 2016 Steel Target Archery Shoot and raise money for Retrieving Freedom in Waverly. Retrieving Freedom, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that trains service dogs for placement with Veterans, children with autism and adults and children with Diabetes.

Archers will compete by shooting at steel targets (Deer, bear, turkey, hog, rabbits, squirrel, ground hog) at various distances with holes ranging from 1”-3”. Competitors must make the arrow through the hole to move on. Last man standing wins!

 

The Shootout will take place August 27th at the Retrieving Freedom building, 1152 230th Street, in Waverly. Signup is from 7 AM to 8:30 AM with the competition starting at 9 AM. There will be $10,000 in raffles and prizes to be given away the day of the shoot.
