An area man has been arrested after authorities found illegal drugs in his car during a traffic stop this week.
On Tuesday (Sept. 13) at about 12:30pm, a Floyd County Sheriff's deputy pulled over a car in Charles City, driven by 33 year old Jeremy Round of Charles City. Round was stopped because he was driving with a suspended license.

During the arrest, officers initially found a meth pipe and over $700 in cash in his vehicle.

A search warrant was obtained, and authorities then found a bag of meth, zip lock baggies and scales in the truck.

Round was then charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, Driving while Suspended, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

After appearing before a judge, Round was ordered to be held on $25,600 bond.
