Pot Arrests in Oelwein

Oelwein police have arrested three people in two separate incidents involving illegal drugs.

At about 10:30pm Thursday, authorities were called to a business in the 200 block of 10th street se in Oelwein, on the report of a suspicious odor.

After looking into the matter, officers arrested 29 year old Sean Ellis of Iowa City on a charge of possession of a controlled substance/marijuana, and 31 year old Adam Olsem of Iowa City for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

And just before midnight Wednesday, Oelwein police responded to the report of a disturbance in the 700 block of South Frederick.
18 year old Aric Quario of Oelwein was taken into custody on a charge of possession with intent to deliver marijuana.
